Client Objectives

Henry Kendall Group is a privately-owned company that has developed commercial, industrial, retail, residential and retirement projects for almost 70 years. Their latest project was to create a new office design and fit-out for their Nexus Smart Hub. Nexus Smart Hub is a serviced shared office space ideal for small businesses, commuters, freelancers and start-ups.

Henry Kendall engaged Evoke Projects to create an office design and fit-out where flexible workspace is key. It needed to be high-tech, collaborative and functional and provide people the opportunity to collaborate, network and be innovative.

Project Specifics

The office space provided Evoke with a blank canvas to work with allowing for the creation of open and inviting workspaces and private offices. Being a shared office space, it was important to include breakout areas which included high tables with stools and casual lounges. Five phone booth style areas were featured for areas of privacy when required.

The colour palette needed to align well with the ground floor as a void connects the two levels. Colourful accents and warmer materials feature in the common areas provides a calming and comfortable space can work, network and relax. The entire office design creates a ‘homely’ feel with the objection to create a space where people love coming to each day.
