Integrated Living were determined to change the way they looked at active aged-care by introducing new Wellness centres all around Australia. The new Newcastle Flagship office boasts amazing views of Newcastle Hunter river where Evoke was able to create a space that embodies wellness in every aspect. Evoke has created a space that nurtures a range of programs linked to the social, physical, nutritional, spiritual and psychological needs for older people, really exploring all the aspects of well and how it could come through in the centre.

Integrated living had very specific requirements to make the space work, especially being open to the public and to the elderly, functionality and ease of use was key. With a secondary reception from the main entry the walkway leads you through the space to a variety of specific rooms and areas including a yoga room, treatment rooms, gym area and the breakout area almost all take advantage of the expansive views.

The open plan areas that make up most of the tenancy are flooded with natural light and a feeling of openness. Being quite an open plan but multi-use space Evoke used different floor finishes and furniture to delineate between areas and their type of use.
