Based in Bella Vista, Simplify Psychiatry is a medical practice offering evidence based, effective, individual psychiatric care that treat a number of mental health disorders.

Evoke were engaged when they were relocating to a new building within same Bella Vista area as they wished to maintain their current client base. Their main objective was to maximise number of consult rooms available and provide one larger one to be able to hold group sessions for future growth of the practice.

A fresh look and feel was created through a cool colour palette of pale blue, light grey and timber, offering a calming space to patients and staff to enjoy and feel comfortable within. The existing kitchenette was utilized and enhanced with additional joinery to compliment and include integration of new appliances. A quiet and secure admin room was created for staff to share for the purposes of administrative tasks and a place to have sensitive telephone conversations.

There were 3 consult rooms accommodated and one of them had a direct access to the outdoor balcony. A single glass consult door with frosted privacy film was implemented to allow the natural light to enter the corridor, allowing light to be seen from the client waiting area. Soft curves were used to break up the flow of the short corridor and subtly highlight the reception desk corner and acoustics were given consideration between rooms to offer privacy to patients and doctors.

The fitout was furnished with all new furniture selected by the client to compliment the base fit out. To promote wellness elements of greenery were implemented within the client waiting area and consult rooms. A nice graphical element of film was designed to provide privacy to the staff kitchen area also showcase elements of graphic relief in the waiting area through drawing on elements within the company logo and geometrics.
