The Shire vet is a private startup vet clinic located in a converted 2 tenancy split level warehouse building in the industrial / business park of Caringbah NSW.

For the Shire Vet Clinic project, Evoke aimed to break away from conventional suburban vet clinic designs, infusing the space with a modern and bold industrial aesthetic. Key functional requirements included separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, exam rooms, dental consult spaces, and integration of the client's new branding elements throughout the interior and exterior. Acoustic solutions were also carefully implemented to address noise concerns and enhance the overall patient and staff experience.

The space captures the following areas: spacious reception and waiting with separate dog and cat waiting, Exam consults rooms, dental exam, pharmacy and lab.

Warmth and a welcoming homely feel were injected into the design through a variety of raw and refined finishes and textures. This included painting out existing brick work in warm white, v groove panelling, bronze toned wall sconces, custom honey oak timber look display and seating joinery and biophilic elements of greenery in bespoke moveable planter boxes

The monolithic concrete panelled front desk and art gallery style suspended track lighting help achieve a distinct and dynamic reception waiting. Natural lighting is essential in a vet practice, and this was achieved by converting an existing warehouse roller door into a new striking black framed double height glazed entrance way.
