Sara Lee is a well-known frozen bakery with operations located all over the world. Evoke were brought in to give Sara Lee, Lisarow, a much needed facelift that perfectly aligned with their branding and modern business objectives. Our goal was to create an open-plan workspace that encouraged collaboration among staff and leveraged technology to facilitate seamless operations. With a focus on enhancing departmental synergies, we carefully crafted a new layout that improved the overall flow of the office and provided multiple collaborative spaces for the team.

The project brief for Sara Lee was to transform an outdated office space, which had a traditional, corridor-heavy layout, into a modern, open-plan collaborative workspace. Sara Lee requested a welcoming reception area that conveyed a corporate image and provided direct access to a formal boardroom equipped with the latest technology.

The new office design exuded an open-plan vibe, featuring several private areas and utility zones for each department. The colour palette and concepts for the transformation were directly inspired by Sara Lee’s products, lending the space a cohesive and unmistakable brand identity.

As the client need to remain operation during fitout works the project was staged across two areas to ensure minimal disruption to the client’s operations. Despite the challenges, the construction team successfully completed the renovation, which included a demolition phase to open up the space, refresh and renew the base building, and install upgraded amenities. The careful planning and staged approach paid off, as the client was able to continue their operations throughout the project with minimal impact.
