Sunshine Coast Respiratory & Sleep opened their first clinic at the new Vitality Village precinct on the Sunshine Coast. Vitality Village is a $25 million development which aims to transform health and wellbeing services on the Sunshine Coast, by sharing knowledge, tackling challenges, and building a community of best practice through multi-sectoral collaboration.

A calming space was created with soft curves introduced through joinery pieces and flooring features. A neutral base palette is achieved using warm timbers, soft greys and whites. Colour was then introduced to reflect the branding identify with muted shades of soft blues and navy. Feature wall lights create a nice ambience in reception along with biophilic elements such as plants and natural timbers.

The design consists of reception and patient waiting areas as well as Consult Rooms and a Lung Function Room with equipment for pulmonary function testing. Staff facilities such as a meeting room and kitchen area where also accommodated in the design.
