Evercare is redefining the general practice experience, offering fast, reliable medical care both in-clinic and via telehealth, supported by a purpose-built app that empowers patients to seamlessly manage their healthcare. As Evercare continues its expansion across Brisbane, Evoke Projects was engaged to design and build two new clinics in Mitchelton and Redcliffe. Evoke is proud to support Evercare’s growth journey, delivering facilities that challenge conventional expectations of medical spaces, with a strong focus on patient and staff attraction, comfort, and long-term retention.

Project Brief

The project brief centred on creating a welcoming, highly engaging environment for both patients and staff — a space that challenged the typical expectations of a local GP clinic. Rather than a conventional waiting room, the design envisioned a lobby-style lounge experience, complete with integrated tea and coffee facilities to encourage comfort and relaxation.

The interior design approach drew heavily from Evercare’s brand identity, utilising a layered palette of deep and pastel greens. To further enhance the sense of warmth and calm, timber elements were thoughtfully introduced throughout the space, adding texture and a subtle connection to nature. This combination of natural materials and brand-led colour creates a contemporary, reassuring environment that feels both distinctive and unexpectedly inviting within a healthcare setting.

Give us a challenge

At the Redcliffe site, the design challenge was to work within a building planned for multiple tenancies, including a GP clinic, pathology, and a future tenant. The solution required careful planning to determine the optimal location for the GP clinic, ensuring strong street visibility, easy access, and clear sightlines from the common lift when arriving from the carpark. The final layout maximises exposure and convenience for patients while integrating seamlessly with the building’s shared spaces.

All materials were carefully specified for durability, quality, and environmental responsibility. Laminex and Polytec products were used for all cabinetry and joinery. These suppliers employ a range of processes along with the latest technology to ensure they reduce their carbon footprint such as timber certifications, Global GreenTag certified products, low emission products and ISO 14001 certification.
